ICL result

The ICL team welcomed Taunton & Pickeridge to Wells today. It was the first time we had played them for a while, as we haven’t  been in the same division for a number of years.  The result of the match was a magnificent, well deserved win for Wells, 6 1/2 - 1/2. The team pulled together well and used their home advantage to full effect.  Most of the team managed to avoid the rain and thunderstorm.  Three matches went to the 18th, producing wins for Jill and Sandy and a half for Joan.  Katrina, Erica. Julie and Lindsey secured their wins well before the 18th.  Everyone enjoyed playing our course, even the losing team!  The balls were running well and the greens challenging.  We all enjoyed the match tea of delicious jacket potatoes with fillings of our choice.  Thank you team.
