LIFESTYLE MEMBERSHIP CREDIT SYSTEM

Lifestyle membership is a credits-based scheme that enables members to access the more traditional elements of a golf membership, such as have an official handicap, book tee times in advance and play in club competitions*, but with the added flexibility of a modern membership scheme which allows you to tailor the cost with how much golf you choose to play. Membership can be taken out at any time of the year. Lifestyle membership includes 'Lifestyle Credits', which can be used to play golf both during the week and at weekends. Our Lifestyle members will be able to enjoy up to 32 rounds of golf each year for their initial credits, depending on whether they play at peak or off-peak times - please see the matrix below. `

How does it work?

Each time you book to play golf credits are deducted from your account. Credits will be deducted according to when you play and can be topped up at any time via the member website or pro shop. Due to the credit nature of this membership, we cannot offer the monthly payment option on this category of membership . In addition to the membership subscription there is an affiliation fee to be paid which goes to England Golf and the respective County Union and the Captial Levy charged to all members. (£23 & Capital Levy £30).

All unused points will be lost at the end of the subscription year.

Rules & FAQ’s

Can I purchase additional credits?

You can top Up 100 points worth of credit at a time via the club website..

Can I upgrade to full membership?

You can upgrade to full membership at any time and we will credit a pro rata amount of your lifestyle membership credits towards the full membership fee.

Can I bring a Guest?

You can bring upto 6 guests a year, subject to payment of the relevant guest fee.

Can I carry over unused credits?

Your initial membership credit bundle will expire at the end of the membership period; however, any unused top up credits can be carried over subject to renewal.

How do I book a tee Time?

Tee times can be booked up to 14 days in advance, either online or by calling the pro-shop. A tee time will only be accepted if enough credits are on the members account for the booked slot.

Do I get a refund if I do not play a full 18 holes?

The credit charge is based on the tee reservation and unfortunately there are no refunds for no-shows or discounts for shortened rounds.

Can I get a WHS Handicap?

You will be a member of Somerset Golf Union and England Golf and are therefore eligible to maintain your WHS handicap via the club website and the submission of competition and social scores.

Do I get a Bar Card?

You will receive a membership card that entitles you to 10% discount against drink purchases and your card can be topped up throughout the year via the website or clubhouse.

Will the points or time zones change?

These will be subject to annual review each winter and presented at the Club's February AGM. This may be during your membership year.

National County card scheme Lifestyle members are eligible for this benefit.

How do I join?

Simply complete the Application form, return it to the club and well take care of the rest. We will take you through all the arrangements and ensure that you can start to enjoy your membership immediately Discounted Range card Members can benefit from a discounted range card purchased from the professional shop.
