Senior's Championship Winners

After two scorching days, with the ball running miles and a few odd bounces, we have our Senior's Champion 2025 and winner of the Cole Cup, Mike Metcalfe, scoring two rounds of 77 (154, Nett 140).  Very consistent and excellent play.  He finished with birdie on 16, par 17 and putting in from off the green on 18 for par.

Nick Poore was second with 159.  Apparently he was leading after the 15th but had a nightmare on 16 & 17, handing over the lead to Mike Metcalfe.

Martin Barnes was third with 160 and had an excellent round until his tee shot on 18, which dropped him a place.  Nigel Pring had a poor day by his standards and dropped to 4th (160). 5th was last year's champion, Andrew Green with Andrew Green 161.

The Dalby Cup for best nett was won by Martin Sommers with two very steady rounds below handicap. (68, 65, 133).  Rob Coate was second, again with two sub handicap rounds. (67, 68, 135).  Nick Poore was third also with 135. (63, 72) Paul Lewer was 4th, having a very good second round. (71, 65, 136)  David J Millington also played under his handicap for two rounds, coming 5th with 137. (69, 68)
