latest ICL result

We faced a strong Bath ICL team at Bath today.  The course had recovered slightly since we played our Rogers cup match there a few weeks ago, but although the fairways were greener, the ball was still running well and the greens were challenging.  Despite that and the ever present wind, the matches were all very close, except for the number 5 pairing where Julie achieved  a magnificent 8 and 6 win.  Sandy took her opponent to the 17th before triumphing 3 and 1.  Three matches were decided on the 18th hole.  Well done team and thank you for playing, especially Helen and Diane who had to change other arrangements so that we could travel to Bath with a full team.
